Sorcha has worked in the energy management industry since 2007, beginning her career in an International Facilities Management business before moving into the Energy Services department where she worked as an Energy Consultant covering a large variety of commercial organisations across Europe and Africa.

This provided an opportunity to work with a large number of diverse organisations and gain experience in conducting energy audits and engaging staff at all levels to reduce energy. Sorcha worked her way up to Senior Consultant level within the industry gaining extensive experience in the United Kingdom Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS).

In 2012 Sorcha began working with EIC a small procurement led firm with a carbon team. Her role within this team was to grow and develop the UK ETS offering and provide assistance to clients with other compliance schemes such as the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) and more recently the Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS).

Sorcha is also trained as a Lead Auditor for ISO50001 this means that she can provide insight into the set-up and implementation of Energy Management Systems within organisations and can assist organisations that wish to work towards certification.
